The Concord Dog Park offers designated off-leash sections for small dogs and for large dogs, and the third off-leash area is a beach where dogs are also welcome to join their owners for a swim. However, it is unknown if the play areas or the beach is fenced.
Though off-leash play is welcome, owners must take to ensure their dogs have a solid recall and keep a leash with them at all times. Concord Dog Park is pleased to offer access to their public dog playground free of charge. Housed on the premises for the enjoyment of all dogs is a plentiful water supply where Fido and his favorite canine pals can quench their thirst on a hot summer day.
In the beach area, all dogs and their families have access to the dock which is ideal for diving and games of water fetch. Also on the grounds are dog showers as well as bathrooms for public use. Complimentary poop bags may or may not be provided on the premises.
To ensure one is available when needed, owners are encouraged to bring some with them from home. It is the expectation of park officials that all owners will clean up after their pets. This ensures the park continues to be a clean and attractive space for all to enjoy. It is suggested that owners should bring bottled water and a dog dish with them to the park.
This beautiful four acre property is also home to many trails, both natural and paved. Here, Fido can burn off a little excess energy by taking a stroll or run with this family. Benches are also situated throughout the grounds. Concord Dog Park offers plenty of shade which makes the grounds an ideal location for a picnic lunch or snack.
Visitors to this beautiful, waterfront park praise its pristine cleanliness. Though no official rules are published regarding the use of this park space, vaccinations are always recommended. A city dog license is also an excellent idea. For a day at a beautiful Tennessee beach and dog park, you won't want to miss Concord Dog Park!
