Description

The Corporation Station Dog Park is a public dog park located at the Mosquito Lake State Park in Cortland, Ohio. In addition to the dog park, the 2,483-acre park features a lake, an archery range, a disc golf course, and playgrounds. There are plenty of fun outdoor activities that each member of the family can participate in, from wildlife watching, fishing and hiking to camping or simply picnicking and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

The Corporation Station Dog Park is the perfect destination for the four-legged family members. It is five acres in size and provides lots of room for canines to run, roam, explore and socialize in a safe, fenced environment. Plus, the dog park is equipped with everything you would need in a dog park.

It has a well-thought-out, open space layout with a large dog run and a small dog section. The off-leash park also features a canine swimming area which dogs love splashing in, especially when it is hot outside. Luckily, there is a washing station for post-playtime clean-up.

The park is set in a relaxing, picturesque location that is covered in lush grass and lined with tall, mature trees. There is a great deal of shade that dogs and owners can enjoy and cool off in. Drinking fountains are available as well which means owners can relax and enjoy the scenery without having to worry about their furballs staying hydrated.

There are benches scattered throughout the Corporation Station Dog Park to make sure the park’s patrons remain comfortable as they keep their dogs in sight during their off-leash playtime. Dog waste bag dispensers and trash cans are also readily available for owners to take advantage of and encourage people to clean up after their pets.

The Corporation Station Dog Park opened in July 2009 and has since become a favorite among the locals due to its size and landscaping. This forested park allows dogs to swim or explore in nature instead of being limited to a small fenced area with a lawn.

This park has both ungroomed areas for sniffing and open space for games of fetch and chase. In addition to the above, there is a butterfly garden by the amphitheater and lots of free concerts that take place in the state park during the summer.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
