The Dogwood Park located at Hunter Wright Stadium is a 2.5-acre area designated for dogs to run off-leash in a safe environment. This fantastic dog park is membership based that ensures all dogs visiting the park have vaccinations.
Pet parents can register and pay the park fee at the office located next to Hunter Wright Stadium. Once approved dog owners receive a gate access card to enter the park. The keyless entry system prevents non-member dogs from entering the area.
This park is excellent for dogs since it provides an agility course plus plenty of room to play. The designated area also has a separate section for small and large dogs. The park is specially designed for dogs, but it also accommodates pet parents with bathrooms and benches.
The dog park has doggie waste stations which makes it easy for owners to help keep the park clean. This mandatory dog park rule prevents the spread of bacteria among dogs. Dog owners can prevent their dog from getting dehydrated because this park has a doggie water fountain available.
