This pawsome dog park is as simple as it gets. A fence surrounds a long stretch of meadow that is furbulous for fetch and plenty of romping. A few entry gates can be found for access. Once inside the gates, you can take off the leash and let your pup run wild. The park is covered in grass, which is easy on the paws, and features a good amount of shade from trees that line the edges of the dog park.
Without any amenities, you'll need to come prepared. A lone picnic table is on site, but a portable chair is always a good idea if you'd like to relax while your furry bestie gets out those wiggles. The dog run gets great sunlight, so be sure to bring water for your dog to keep him cool and hydrated. Always have clean-up bags on hand, and pick up whatever your pup leaves behind. Before coming to the dog park, your dog should be fully vaccinated, licensed and tagged. Keep your dog leashed anytime you are outside the fenced in area. There is a limit of up to 3 dogs per handler, and children need to be supervised by an adult.
If your dog gets enough of off leash fun, you can take a leashed stroll around East Delta Park. Here you can find restrooms for the humans, as well as paved paths, a playground and several sports courts and fields.
