The Eau Claire Dog Park is an exceptionally large dog park. This park totals about nine-acres and makes for a significant amount of space for your canine to run and play. Even the most energetic canines can find enough room to wear themselves out. The full name of this park is the Eau Claire Otter Creek Dog Park. The space here also allows for some long-range games like fetch or frisbee.Â
The wide-open field means there are no obstacles or obstructions to hinder your game. There are some downsides to this dog park. Some trees line the park, but they do not produce much shade, and the shade they do provide is only when the sun is low in the sky. During the hottest hours of the day, you and your canine are subjected to the will of the sun.Â
There is water provided at the Eau Claire Otter Creek Dog Park for you and your canine that works as a nice counterweight to the sun as you both can stay hydrated during your visit to this dog park. Even though they are equipped with running water, this park has no restrooms for the human companions.Â
The running water here is turned off in the fall and remains off until late spring. This is to prevent freezing. Disposal bags are available at this dog park, and there are also garbage cans located here that are emptied relatively regularly. The park here stays pretty clean and is well maintained, the grass is frequently cut or as needed.
