Fish Bridge Dog Park is pleased to offer a secure enclosure where dogs can enjoy off-leash play. Benches are provided in shaded areas to allow owners a quiet spot to relax while observing their dogs having fun. While the run itself is a designated off-leash zone, owners are asked to carry a lead with them at all times in case of an emergency. When not in the areas reserved for off-leash activity, all dogs must be securely on lead.
Water is provided on-site for cleaning urine from the pavement. There is also a plentiful supply of fresh water to help address Fido's hydration needs while at the park. On-site, there is also a small dog pool which affords Fido the opportunity to cool off on a hot summer's day.Â
Access to this public dog run is free of charge. There are no bathrooms on the premises for public use, and it is also unknown if complimentary poop bags are available on-site. However, it is required by New York legislation that all owners carry bags to pick up and properly dispose of all canine waste materials in the provided trash receptacles. This helps to ensure the continued pristine cleanliness that has become a hallmark of this particular dog park.
While no specific regulations govern the use of this park, New York by-laws state that all dogs making use of public spaces must be current on all vaccinations including rabies. It is also required by law that owners carry proof of up to date immunization paperwork as well as their required state dog licensing with them. Dogs should wear their city dog license tag on their collars at all times. For a relaxing afternoon of blowing off some steam, bring Fido for a visit to Fish Bridge Dog Park!
