It is believed that access to this public dog play space is free of charge. It is not known if there is a bathroom on site or if a potable water supply is provided to help keep Fido hydrated. For this reason, it is highly recommended that owners carry a bottle of water and an appropriate drinking vessel with them.
New York legislation also requires that all dogs to be current on vaccinations and to be fully licensed with the city. Police officers randomly request proof of immunizations and city dog licensing. Under New York state by-laws, owners are expected to carry the appropriate paperwork with them at all times. Failure to produce said paperwork results in a fine.Â
Though it is not known if this area is rural or urban in nature, it is important to note that New York by-laws prohibit dogs from entering beaches and areas reserved for bathing. Also forbidden are fountains, courts reserved for sporting activities such as tennis or basketball, zoos, softball diamonds, and children's playgrounds. It is also strictly prohibited for dogs to chase any animals or wildlife.
It is not known if complimentary poop bags are available on-site. New York by-laws mandate that all owners carry bags with them to promptly pick up and properly dispose of all canine waste materials in the provided trash receptacles. Could Fido stand the chance to stretch his legs?
