The Dog Exercise Area at Green Park covers approximately one acre of land which is separated into two fenced enclosures. The upper portion of the park measures 17,000 square feet with the lower portion at 43,000 square feet. The larger run is grass-covered to allow for a soft surface for running and roughhousing. Both enclosures are equipped with benches to allow owners to enjoy a rest while supervising their dogs at play.
Water stations are provided in both fenced dog run areas. Complimentary poop bags are also available on-site to assist owners with maintaining the cleanliness of the property by cleaning up and properly disposing of all canine waste materials in the designated trash receptacles.
Dogs enjoying the park must be under direct owner supervision at all times. While this facility allows for off-leash play, park officials request that all dogs remain on a lead when traveling to and from the enclosures. For the safety of all dogs involved, owners are also asked to retain a lead with them.
Park regulations require that all dogs attending the dog park be current on their rabies vaccinations. Dogs in season, as well as puppies under four months of age, are not permitted in the play areas. There is a zero-tolerance policy regarding aggressive behavior. Socially inappropriate dogs will be asked to vacate the premises.
Food, cigarettes, and alcohol are not permitted at the park. However, dog toys such as frisbees and tennis balls are welcome. Park officials also prohibit the wearing of spike collars and any training practices during park visits. For a great time at a great dog park, bring Fido to the Dog Exercise Area at Green Park!
