Currently, there is no area provided specifically for use by small, elderly, or shy dogs; however, dogs of all sizes and breeds are warmly welcomed to make use of Glenbrook Park's enclosure. Though off-leash play is encouraged at this doggy play haven, safety is the top priority of the management team of Glenbrook Dog Park.
As such, it is essential for all owners to have a lead with them at all times. Additionally, when not in a designated off-leash area, all dogs must remain leashed. A public dog playground, Glenbrook Dog Park permits access to their property at no cost. All dogs and their owners are encouraged to visit often. Found in the runs are many amenities that help to make a day at the dog park fun. On-site agility equipment helps to keep Fido's brain and body sharp as a tack.
Also housed throughout the one acre property are benches and picnic style seating where families can relax and enjoy a quiet afternoon in the sun. Water is available within each enclosure to ensure that Fido and his friends can quench their thirst when the need strikes. It is not known if bathrooms are housed on the grounds or if poop bags are provided for pet cleanup.
With this in mind, it is always wise to be prepared with extra bags from home. The Glenbrook Dog Park staff greatly appreciates all owner cooperation in helping them maintain a clean and beautiful park space by cleaning up after their dogs. From softball and baseball to barbecues and picnics, everything you need for a day of outdoor adventure can be found at this lovely park. For dogs visiting the play areas, it is mandatory that they possess up to date vaccinations.
