Granville Village Dog Park (at Wildwood Park)

The Granville Village Dog Park at Wildwood Park is a large grassy property that welcomes dogs to run off-leash. The dog park is fenced-in and helps prevent dogs from escaping which gives pet parents peace of mind. It is a great place to play a game of fetch with your dog too. 

This beautiful park has mandatory rules dog owners need to follow such as cleaning up after your dog. The park provides a pet waste station with poop bags and a trash can. However, you should bring along your own bags just in case the dispenser at the station runs out. 

All dogs visiting this park must have vaccination and license tags displayed on their collar. This helps prevent the spread of contagious canine illness and disease at the park. Owners need to keep their dog on a leash until entering the designated dog park area. You must also place the leash on your dog before exiting the dog park. 

Dogs are not allowed off-leash in any other area of the park except for the designated area. Pet parents need to watch their dog at all times when visiting the park. You are responsible for the safety of your dog and their behavior towards others. 

Dogs that show aggressive behavior need to be removed from the park on a leash by their pet parent. Avoid trying to take control of someone else’s aggressive dog. You can always remove your dog from the situation and return to the park when things calm down.
