Greenbelt Dog Park

To visit the Greenbelt Dog Park, the city requires your canine to be registered, and a small fee is associated with the use of the park. More information on the registration process and the prices associated with the park can be found on the cities website. This is an average size for a city dog park. There is limited space to run and play, and games like fetch or frisbee would have to be quite limited. 

The Greenbelt Dog Park is fenced, and that fenced divides the land into separate areas for large and small canines. The land here is some combination of dirt and grass, the dirt areas being the zones most traversed. There is some agility equipment at the Greenbelt Dog Park in the form of a tunnel through the center of the park. 

There is seating along the fence line, and some of the benches are placed underneath some of the trees located inside the fenced area at the Greenbelt Dog Park. These seats, in particular, have a nice amount of shade on a sunny day but the ones found along the fence get a lot of sun during the peak hours of the day. 

Although the open field here is relatively small, the permit requires all the canines at the Greenbelt Dog Park to be up to date on their shots, and this park gets a lot of traffic. It makes for a great place to socialize your canine. There is enough space for your canine to run around with the other dogs and get a lot of exercise in. 

Poop bags are available here, and garbage cans are placed at the entrance. These cans are emptied regularly, and the grounds here stay fairly clean. Water is available at this park however you will want to bring your bowl so your canine can stay hydrated on a hot day. For the residents of the town and those nearby, the Greenbelt Dog Park is a great reprieve for the canines of the area.
