Hazeldale Dog Park

Hazeldale Dog Park, a two-acre designated dog property, is located in Aloha, Oregon. A fan favorite park amongst dogs and their owners alike, Hazeldale Dog Park offers three fenced areas which are suitable for off-leash activity. 

One of the enclosed areas is reserved for large dogs with the other two designated for medium-sized and small dogs respectively. Though all of the dog play areas are intended for off-leash playtime, it is required that all owners carry a leash with them as a precautionary measure, and dogs must remain on their leash in all the other areas of the park. 

Hazeldale Dog Park is one of three Beaverton-area dog playgrounds and is the oldest of the three. Access to this public facility is permitted free of charge to all dogs and their owners. However, donations are gratefully accepted and applied to the cost of the $200 per month lease for the land. 

Included in the dog play spaces for the comfort and convenience of dogs and their owners are drinking water, shade trees, picnic-style seating, and poop bags. Visitors remark favorably about the cleanliness of the park as well as the small pool which allows dogs to cool off on a hot day. 

They also love the large enclosures which allow dogs to enjoy a vigorous run. Unfortunately, bathrooms are not available at this property. Nearby Hazeldale Park is a family-centric recreational area. Housed on 11 acres of property, this neighborhood park is home to three baseball diamonds, a playground, basketball court, and soccer field. 

Surrounding the property is a perimeter walking path. Fido is welcome to join his family in all of these areas of Hazeldale Park; however, here, he must remain on a lead. Hazeldale Dog Park consists of a grass section and an all seasons section. The all seasons section remains open year round, but the grass portion closes from November through March each year. 

There are no officially posted rules for dogs visiting Hazeldale Dog Park. Vaccinations are recommended, and a city dog license is also suggested. For a great visit to a great park, plan a trip to Hazeldale Dog Park!
