Located on a bend of the Caney Fork River between Nashville and Knoxville, this rest area sits on the westbound side of the highway, but can be easily reached by traffic on both sides. If you and Fido are coming from an eastbound lane, simply exit at mile marker 267 and drive under I-40 to get to the other side. Once you reach the site, you'll find a puptastic rest stop that's open and staffed 24/7, and equipped with various amenities to accommodate weary travelers, including restrooms with ADA accessible stalls and baby changing stations.
Parking is plentiful, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding a spot. Grab a couple of doggie waste bags before you step out of the car, and lead your pooch to the pet exercise area so they can go to the bathroom.
