Kellogg Dog Field - Anderson

Kellogg Park Dog Field is a four-acre dedicated dog play space located in Anderson, Ohio. On the same property as Kellogg Park, Kellogg Park Dog Field offers several securely fenced runs where dogs can enjoy a romp in the park without the encumbrance of a lead. 

To ensure that small dogs have a space better suited to their play needs, Kellogg Park Dog Field has reserved a section for their use. Though all of the play spaces welcome and encourage off-leash play, owners should keep a leash handy as a precaution. Kellogg Park Dog Field is open for all members of the public to enjoy; however, a permit is required to enter the property. 

Permits are available at a cost of $30 for Anderson residents and $45 for non-residents. The expiration date for these passes is October 31st of each calendar year. This initial membership fee permits access for one dog into the dog runs. Subsequent passes can be purchased for $20 for Anderson residents and $30 for all others. 

At the time of registration, all owners must furnish a completed application form, vaccination records which include dates for rabies, distemper, and bordetella, and the appropriate fee. Membership requests take approximately 20 minutes to approve. The off-leash dog spaces themselves are home to water fountains to keep Fido and his friends' thirst at bay. 

Also on the property are benches in well-shaded areas to permit owners an excellent vantage point from which to relax and supervise their dogs. To appeal to the whole family, a concession stand which serves snacks and beverages is available on the premises. Also included on the property is a stunning mural completed by the company ArtWorks, soccer fields, bathrooms, and picnic areas. 

Though poop bags are available, the park does occasionally run low on supplies. For this reason, it is best for owners to bring some bags from home with them to ensure they have one when they need one.
