Though an enclosure designed for use by small, senior, or shy dogs is in the park plans, Kyle Dog Park does not currently have one. All dogs are warmly welcomed to enjoy off-leash activity and appropriate socialization in the on-premise dog run. Though the enclosure is a designated off-leash zone, safety measures must be put in place. Keeping this in mind, it is essential that all owners carry a lead with them at all times. In all areas of the family-friendly Thomas B. Kyle Memorial Park, dogs must remain leashed.Â
Kyle Dog Park invites all pooches and their people to enjoy their doggy play haven at no cost. Park improvements are planned pending procurement of the necessary funds. Towards this end, donations are gratefully accepted. The dog play area is equipped with access to a plentiful supply of drinking water to ensure Fido and his friends stay cool and well-hydrated.Â
However, there are no drinking vessels on the grounds. For this reason, owners should bring a dog dish with them. Benches and picnic tables are also scattered throughout the dog run to provide a quiet, restful place where owners can recline and supervise their dogs at play. Though it is not known if poop bags are provided on the premises, the onus does rest with each owner for the cleanup of all pet waste materials.Â
Bathrooms are not housed on the property for public use. Kyle Dog Park has not instituted any official regulations for those making use of their doggy play haven. However, most state laws do require that all dogs who frequent public play spaces be current on vaccinations and have an up to date city dog license. For a day of fun in the Ohio sun, plan a trip to Kyle Dog Park!Â
