This 300-acre state park is marked by its cornerstone, Lake Logan. This lovely park features a gorgeous setting for boating, fishing, and swimming and makes for a beautiful place to take the family to enjoy some time outdoors. It is touted as one of the best fishing locations in the state of Ohio and attracts visitors from all across the state.
Camping is available at this park, making it a place you and the family can stay. This park features cabins you can rent or campsites for tents or RV's. Plenty of amenities are available in different sections of the park, from sports fields to the main park office. The restrooms and other amenities are open from daybreak to sunset, the staff is available at the park office until 5 PM.
This park does feature an off-leash dog zone and it is fenced so any dogs who like to escape or run away will have a problem doing so in the vast park. Please bring bags for your dog and clean up after them. Even though they cannot escape this fenced area, dogs are required to stay in sight and within voice control at all times. Outside of the chain link fence, dogs are required to remain on their leash. The wildlife in the park causes many dogs to chase down animals, and could put your canine at risk.
This park does have some amenities, like watering stations, restrooms, picnic areas, and the like. Poop bags are available in case you didn't bring any yourself. In the lake itself, dogs are prohibited from swimming for various reasons, however, no one would bat an eye if they are just splashing on the shoreline. Overall this park makes for a gorgeous place to take your four-legged friend. Bring your canine out camping with you, and they will find themselves with plenty to do.
