Luscher Farm Dog Park (at Hazelia Field)

Luscher Farm Dog Park, also known as Hazelia Dog park or Lake Oswego Dog Park, is a public dog park located at the Hazelia Field at Luscher Farm in West Linn, Oregon. In addition to the dog park, the 12-acre community park is home playgrounds, an athletic field, public restrooms, plenty of parking spaces and approximately one-and-a-half acres of wetland. 

In addition to the above, various trails are running throughout and around the park but make sure your canine companion is leashed if you want to enjoy the scenic paths together. The Luscher Farm Dog Park is a popular and highly-rated dog park due to its well-thought-out layout that consists of two separate areas for dogs to run around in leash-free. 

The section on the north side of the park is over an acre in size, and it is meant for small dog breeds, as well as timid dogs. The other dog run is located adjacent to the parking lot, and it is over one-and-a-half acres in size which is perfect for large dogs. Unlike in most other dog parks, the small dog area is very reasonably sized and provides plenty of room for leash-free fun and exercise. 

The park is grassy, surrounded by nature and greenery and there are many growing trees in the off-leash areas too which means there are plenty of shaded areas where dogs can cool off in and rest. Water fountains, drinking bowls, and kiddie pools are also available in the park and help keep the four-legged patrons hydrated. However, make sure to bring a towel for your dog since the park’s terrain is a combination of grass and soil, and the water spigot area gets muddy. 

The fenced Luscher Farm Dog Park at Hazelia Field is equipped with garbage receptacles and free waste bag dispensers so please do your best in cleaning up after your pooch to help maintain this park poop-free. Plus, there are public restrooms within walking distance, just in case you end up spending the day at this great location!
