During your time at Manhattan Beach State Recreation Site, you will find many different amenities that are available for your enjoyment. There are restrooms, walking paths, the beach, picnic areas, picnic tables, dump stations, hydration stations, campsites nearby, yurts, cabins, and availability for whale watching, educational programs, hiking, biking, and so much more.
Your dog can also come with you to the Manhattan Beach State Recreation Site, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay, and they cannot go in the water. When you come and visit this park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the Oregon State Parks and Recreation System.
Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home. Dogs must be well-mannered before they come to this park as they do not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here.
Humans should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in this park. This park is mainly used for day use, but camping is available nearby. If you wish to camp, you must schedule a reservation. Reservations can be made on the park's main website or in the park's main office. Overall, this state park is a fabulous region to visit. If you are in the neighborhood, you will have a marvelous time that is filled with adventures.
