Montgomery County Bark Park -Dayton
Built upon a former landfill site, the run perched upon the hill is now a bountiful grass space where dogs can run and play off-lead. It is not known if Montgomery County Bark Park has a section reserved for small dogs to enjoy; however, dogs of all sizes and breeds are welcome in both play enclosures. Though this dog playground invites all dogs to enjoy a romp on the grounds off the lead, owners should keep a leash handy as a safety precaution.
Montgomery County Bark Park is a public dog facility, and all dogs and their owners are warmly welcomed to visit. A city dog license is required to enter the premises. The dog play spaces are filled with agility equipment, another great tool to help stimulate Fido's brain and his body. Also housed within the runs is a plentiful supply of water.
With an eye to preserving the environment, Montgomery County Bark Park provides reusable plastic bags for the picking up and disposing of canine waste. Owners are asked to please make use of them. Benches are situated in various sections of the two runs to allow owners an excellent vantage point from which they can recline and enjoy supervising their dogs. Copious trees also provide shade from the heat of the day.
Montgomery County Bark Park has instituted a few rules owners must observe when making use of the dog playground. Vaccinations are mandatory, and proof of up to date inoculations and city dog licensing must be displayed on your dog's collar.
