North Clackamas Dog Park

You have no plans this weekend, so why not take Fluffy to the North Clackamas Dog Park in Milwaukie, Oregon? Located within the more massive North Clackamas Park, you and Fluffy can venture on-leash after her playtime to see a local baseball game or eat lunch under a shady pavilion. 

And don't forget to smell the roses - literally - because there is an excellent rose garden in this park as well. Your kids can enjoy the playground nearby while you and Fluffy enjoy the dog park. Although this dog park offers a vast fenced-in area for Fluffy to run, she'll have to be cordial with dogs of all sizes because there is no small dog space here.

And be wary of attending the park during the spring because it does tend to get muddy. However, Fluffy might enjoy a refreshing mud bath. Forget your water and your poop bags? You are in luck because this park offers them both. 

And here you will not see a typical doggy park water station. You'll have access to a hose, and plenty of doggy bowls, pots, and pans. Fluffy will have no issues staying hydrated. Fluffy will also enjoy playing in this park that's a mixture of mulch, dirt, and grass; you'll have a field day cleaning those paws when you get home.

Don't forget your leash because it is a hike from the parking lot to the dog park, and Fluffy needs her leash when she's outside of the gates. Also, be aware that you and Fluffy might be alone at this park because it tends to be underused. 

You'll be happy to know that there are a few shaded picnic tables for you and Fluffy during those sunny days. But remember the bug spray because this park is in a wooded area, and mosquitoes are present.

This is one of those dog parks that does have two gates for entering and leaving which is a nice convenience for owners. So take Fluffy for a car ride to this sizeable fenced-in dog park in a wooden atmosphere now. Your Fluffy will be grateful.
