Outagamie County Pet Exercise Park's 12-acre South Park is situated in an area which provides some forest, grass, and many nature trails for Fido and his family to explore. Both of these park areas were formerly only open seasonally but are now open year round. It is important to note that both park spaces do observe winter hours.Â
Formerly, there was a Winter Park section suitable for off-leash play during the colder months. It has recently been closed. However, the Summer Park, which is comprised of 17 acres, is open year round for all to enjoy. It is fully fenced to permit off-leash play. There is one section of the park that provides an enclosed play space for small dogs to enjoy.Â
Though the play spaces are designated off-leash zones, owners are asked to keep their dogs on a lead when traveling to and from the enclosures as well as in all areas of the park which are not marked as off-leash sections. In addition to this, owners are required to carry a leash with them at all times in case of an emergency.
Access to this doggy play haven is free of charge. A Port-a-Potty is available on the premises in the summer months for public use. Poop bags are provided to assist owners with the required cleanup and disposal of all canine waste. Unfortunately, there is no access to water at this public dog space.Â
All dogs making use of the play areas are required to be current on vaccinations and to be properly licensed with their city. For a day at the park you'll never forget, bring Fido to Outagamie County Pet Exercise Park!Â
