PetSafe Downtown Knoxville Dog Park

A private property donated for the use of the public, the PetSafe Dog Park in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee is open daily from dusk until dawn. This dog park offers different areas for small and large dogs to prevent them from fighting with each other and prevent small pooches from getting trampled upon or getting other injuries.

The  PetSafe Downtown Knoxville Dog Park is in an excellent location for downtown residents who have furry friends because it is within walking distance. The park is reasonably busy most days, especially on the weekends. The park sits on a hill which can give pet parents a hell of a workout, but it provides an excellent exercise for our four-legged best friends. 

Climbing up and down the hill will provide pooches with the activity they need and can wear them out quickly. The fenced area provides doggie bags for pet parents to clean up after their pooches. There are benches for lazing around while pooch exhaust himself playing and socializing with other dogs. It is better to bring sunblock, a cap, and sunglasses when it is hot and sunny because the park offers little shade. 

There are ramps and exercise stations so a trip to the PetSafe Downtown Knoxville Dog Park will require energy from your pups. There is a natural pond for where dogs can wade and play in the water and there are also walking trails nearby where you can take Spike, but he must be on a leash for the safety of other people and animals while at the park.

Waste bags are available in the PetSafe Downtown Knoxville Dog Park, as well as waste receptacles to dispose of your dog’s poop properly. Dog and water fountains can be found in the park so even on hot and sunny days, you both stay hydrated. No more than three dogs per human are permitted and pooches must be vaccinated and must wear collars and ID tags to enter.
