Rendezvous Park Off Leash Dog Area

If you are looking for a dog-friendly town, Logan is the place to be. Logan, Utah was established in 1859 as settlers were sent to survey and look over a fort that was on the banks of the Logan River. It was named Logan after an early settler and fur trapper from the area who went by the name of Ephraim Logan. 

Logan is located north of the City of Ogden and is considered to be in northern Utah. This beautiful town is surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges, parks, and gentle streaming rivers. It’s the perfect place to live, visit or enjoy some one on one time at one of the dog-friendly parks like the Rendezvous Park Off-leash Dog Area.

The Rendezvous Park is an 8.77-acre park located along the Logan River. The park features a 1-mile river trail that dogs are welcomed to enjoy while on leash. The Rendezvous Park also has a fenced in dog park, restrooms, trash receptacles and picnic tables scattered throughout the park. There is no drinking fountain, so you are encouraged to bring water for your pup and for yourself, of course.

Be sure to also bring some doggie waste bags to clean up after your pet as well. The fenced in area is the only area dogs are allowed off leash. Whenever your dog is outside the fenced-in area be sure to put him or her on their leash. The on-leash rule is strictly enforced at the Rendezvous Park Off Leash Dog Area.

If you choose to venture on the trail with your pup, you will see the scenic views of canyons, the Bear River Mountains, the Wasatch Range or you even may catch a view of Mount Logan. This park is a wonderful place to explore, run, play, and take in all the new sights and smells. It’s like doggie heaven!
