This large and gorgeous dog park located in Wisconsin makes for an exceptional place to bring your canine. It outshines many of its peers by several metrics. The land here at the Ripon Dog Park is grass and a large wide open field. There are a few trees scattered throughout this land that provide a good amount of shade for those who visit the park on a hot day.Â
The field spans a total of 5-acres and has a fence surrounding the park to prevent big runners from escaping. The ground here stays very well maintained, and the grass remains cut short and often. Since there is so much space available at this dog park, your canine will undoubtedly have a great deal of room to run.Â
It also prevents the grass from becoming too worn in any particular areas of the park, this keeps the grass nice and green and stops the land from turning into mud after heavy rainfall. There is some agility equipment here in the form of massive plastic tunnels for your canine to run through. There is also ample space for long-range games like fetch or frisbee.Â
Ripon Dog Park does lack a little bit of the standard amenities that you might find at a dog park. The park has no running water, so you will want to be sure to bring your own so you and your canine can stay hydrated on those warm days. No running water also means there are no restrooms for the human counterparts.Â
Overall the Ripon Dog Park makes for a great place to bring canines that like wide open spaces and need some room to stretch their legs. If your primary focus is socialization, this dog park may not be the best of areas, but those who bring their canine to the park to wear out an energetic canine will find this place to be a real gem.
