Riverview Dog Park
Free poop disposal bags are available at the dog park section of the park and a few other locations throughout the park for your convenience. It is important that you remove any fecal matter that your dog deposits in the park as soon as possible and place it in the trash bins.
There is some combination of dirt and grass throughout the park that makes it comfortable on your dogs' feet. There is also a fence but that fence is not going to stop a canine from going through. It is not a chain link fence but a wood fence going through. However, this dog park is the only place you can take your canine off leash, and they do require you to maintain visual and voice command at all times.
The greater area of the park is especially nice as it spans a total area of 259 acres. They host many different special events and activities and invite hikers, joggers, bikers, and the like to come and enjoy the park at no cost. Your canine is allowed on a leash through much of the remainder of the park.
The Riverview Dog Park has a variety of pavilions and facilities for shade and restrooms and the like. Your canine is allowed under the pavilions but not inside any of the restrooms or other facilities located at the park. Parking is abundant and available freely.
There is also horseback riding and swimming, however, if you intend to partake in those activities you should not bring your canine. Your canine is not allowed inside the fenced pool area. Overall, Riverview canine park is an amazing place to come and enjoy the day with your four-legged friend.
