Ruidoso Dog Park

The Ruidoso Dog Park is an off-leash dog park in Ruidoso, New Mexico. The dog park is located at the White Mountain Sports Complex. For fur buddies being driven to the dog park, there's a parking lot for their pet chauffeur's vehicle right next to the off-leash area. 

This dog park in Ruidoso is a generous fifteen acres of ground which has been split into two separate compounds for large and small breeds. Both enclosures are securely fenced and have staging areas for the safe entering and exiting of the dog park. Each run has a dirt and grass surface which errs on the side of more dirt than grass, but the dogs are happy with that. 

The pups using the dog park also like the fact it has lots of trees which give them not only somewhere to catch some shade under but are great for scent marking too. Not that many of the pups lay down very often as this is a popular dog park in Ruidoso and there's always a good selection of canine buddies to mingle with. 

When pet parents take their fur baby to this dog park in Ruidoso, they need to remember to keep their pooches vaccination and license tag on its collar and visible. Taking more than three dogs for a run around at the same time is a no go and so is taking food into the off-leash areas to snack on. 

Leashes should be removed from a dog the minute they enter the dog park, but the owners should always keep it in hand in case its use is required. Pet parents should also keep poop bags in hand, so they're convenient when needed. Guaranteed, when a pooch is in the dog park, it's going to poop. That's something which needs to be dealt with. Pet parents need to scoop, bag and then bin their pup's poop in any of the on-site receptacles.
