Schellin Dog Park is an off-leash area for your dog to run and play. It has plenty of land and trees for your dog to explore and have fun. The trees provide shade during the summer months, and it’s an excellent area to play fetch with your dog and not have to worry he will run away since the property is fenced. The park provides drinking water for dogs, but if you prefer your dog not share a community water bowl, you should bring a portable dog bowl. 

The park is clean and provides potty bags for pet parents to clean up after their dogs. Dogs enjoy running around the large property and in between the trees. This park is a natural area that provides dogs with the opportunity to explore nature and feel adventurous. It’s also an excellent place for your dog to socialize with other dogs. 

The dog park is also accommodating to owners by providing restrooms, picnic tables and a clean environment to enjoy and relax. All pet parents need to remain nearby their dog in case of an emergency or altercation with another dog. Dogs that show aggression towards other dogs need to be removed from the park immediately for safety purposes. 

Dog owners need to keep their dog on a leash until they enter the dog park area. Once inside the designated area, owners can remove the leash and allow their dog to run free. Bringing along toys to play along with your dog is a great idea since there is plenty of room to and distance to run. 

Dog breeds that require an extensive amount of exercise will benefit highly from this large dog park, as well as dogs that only want to play. Overall, this park is beautiful, welcoming, clean and has plenty of room for dogs to run and play.
