There are two free parking lots inside Sevier Park. One is accessible from Kirkwood Avenue, and the other from Clayton Avenue. This park is well known for it's community center, which offers plenty of family friendly activities. Only service dogs are allowed indoors, but the outside spaces have gone to the dogs!Â
Possibly your dog's favorite feature in this park will be the long, winding pathways. These paved pathways follow along a pretty creek, and are great for people and pups of any fitness level. Some pet-parents choose to let their pups off-leash near the soccer field, although there are signs throughout the park stating that doggos need to stay leashed. Please always pick up after your pal, and keep in mind that there are many busy roads in the area, and small children playing in the park. Â
Some of the other furtastic features in this park include playgrounds, a variety of athletic fields and courts, and picnic areas. There are even water fountains for people and puppers alike! Bring a bowl so your pup can gra a drink too, and clean up bags! If your stomach is growling, you can grab a treat from one of the seasonal food trucks, or the farmers market that's hosted every Tuesday in the summer. You may even be able to catch a free live music concert here!Â
With the seemingly endless amount of things to do, Sevier Park gets people raving and tails wagging every time!Â
