Shamrock Dog Park

Shamrock Dog Park is located on the same property as Sauk Prairie Small Animal Hospital in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin. This two-acre dog property is fully fenced to offer dogs a safe place for off-leash play. It is unknown if this doggy play haven offers a separate area designated for small dog use only, but given the number of other amenities at this dog park, it is likely that there is. 

The grounds themselves contain multiple grass areas, brush, trails, and a 1/4 mile walking track to help keep Fido physically and mentally stimulated. Also located on the premises is a full-service veterinary clinic as well as grooming, boarding, training, and dog day care services. 

Access to this dedicated dog facility is fee-based. Visitors to the park can purchase a day pass for $2 for the first dog and $1 for each subsequent dog. Alternatively, memberships are available at a cost of $90 for the first dog and $30 for each additional one. Fees for memberships do not include applicable taxes. For clients of Sauk Prairie Small Animal Hospital, discounts on park membership dues are available. A package deal which includes dog park access, training, and various other "perks" can be purchased at the cost of $170 plus tax. All memberships run from January 1st through December 31st. 

Proof of current Rabies, Distemper, and Parvovirus vaccinations is required. At the time of application, members will receive dog tags which permit access to the park. The park is equipped with benches in shaded areas to provide respite from the hot summer sun as well as an ideal vantage point from which owners can view their dogs at play. Also on the premises is a plentiful supply of water to address Fido's hydration needs. Bathrooms are available on-site for public use. 

Complimentary poop bags are provided in dispensers throughout this public dog play space. Owners are asked to assist park officials in preserving the cleanliness of the park by picking up and properly disposing of all canine waste. For a day Fido will never forgot, bring him for a visit to Shamrock Dog Park!
