Sherry Park Dog Run is a much-loved dog play space in Queens, New York. Situated next to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, this pupperdise offers a fully-fenced enclosure where dogs can enjoy running, roughhousing, and wrestling, all without the need for a leash.

Currently, there is not a separate space provided for use by small, shy, or senior dogs. However, all dogs can enjoy the on-site play area regardless of size, breed, or age. For the safety of all dogs in the play space, remember to keep your dog's leash with you at all times.

Access to this park is provided to all members of the community free of charge, and the dog playground is well-equipped with the amenities needed for a great day at the park. The run itself is well-shaded and seating is provided. Here, pet parents can relax and enjoy watching their dogs having fun with their canine pals. Water access is available in the playground to allow Fido a place to get a quick drink when needed. However, the water supply is turned off during the winter months, so you'll need to take bottled water with you during that time of year.

The main play area in Sherry Park Dog Run is cement and this park is generally quite clean. To keep it that way, make sure you clean up after your pup whenever necessary. Clean-up bags are available on the grounds, but its always a good idea to bring a couple of extra bags from home in case the park is in short supply. 

Finally, remember that New York legislation requires all dogs visiting public places to be current on their rabies vaccination and to be in possession of a city dog license.
