Owners should bring bottled water with them during that time of year. The main play area is comprised of cement. Poop bags are available on the grounds; however, owners should bring a few extra from home in case the park is running in short supply.
New York legislation requires all dogs visiting public places to be current on their rabies vaccination and to be in possession of a city dog license. Proof of both must be carried by the owner at all times and must also be furnished upon request. Failure to provide said documentation results in a fine.
