South Ogden Dog Park (at Club Heights Park)

The South Ogden Dog Park is a public dog park located at the Club Heights Park in Ogden, Utah. In addition to the dog park, the Club Heights Park is home to a baseball field, a playground, a pavilion and public restrooms. The two-acre park is open to all dogs and sizes and welcomes well-behaved canines, regardless of their breed. 

This lovely dog park is securely fenced and double-gated, it provides plenty of space for dogs living in the area to socialize and exercise off-leash in a safe environment. The South Ogden Dog Park has a wide, open space layout with plenty of room for canines to roam and run or explore the ungroomed areas with their four-legged friends. The dog parks surface consists of grass and soil. 

Though playtime can get muddy when it rains, most of the time the park's surface is really dry and dusty. Either way, it is a good idea to pack a towel for your dog’s paws - just in case. The dog park is equipped with free waste bag dispensers and convincingly located trash cans which help keep this park clean and poop-free. If you stop by, make sure to do your part and clean up after your furry friend too. 

Though the South Ogden Dog Park does have its advantages, it lacks water fountains, so make sure to bring your own water to keep your dog hydrated during the visit. The dog park is lined with mature trees so finding a shaded spot to cool off in usually isn’t an issue, especially since there are lawn chairs for the owners to relax on as they keep their dogs in sight. 

Restrooms are conveniently located in the concession stand that is within walking distance. In addition to all of the above, the South Ogden Dog Park is very popular throughout the week, and the regular patrons of the Dog park are said to be very friendly and welcoming which makes it a great location for canine socialization and playdates.
