Spencer Dog Park

Spencer Dog Park, located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is an idyllic spot with many attractions to offer dogs and their families. This naturally wooded haven boasts of two fully fenced play areas where dogs can enjoy off-leash play. The enclosures are lined with grass and are extremely spacious to allow for a good run, a bout of roughhousing, or a game of fetch. One of the two dog play areas is reserved for use by small dogs only. Owners are asked to keep a leash with them at all times in case of an emergency. Though this property does permit off-leash play, park officials do require that dogs remain on a lead when entering and leaving the play areas as well as when visiting other sections of the park. 

Entrance to this facility is free of charge. Bathroom facilities are available on-site for public use. There is also a plentiful supply of fresh water to help keep Fido well-hydrated during his visit to the dog runs. Benches are provided in shaded areas to encourage owners to rest and relax while observing their dogs at play. Fancy a little lunch? Spencer Dog Park is home to picnic shelters equipped with power for those looking to prepare and enjoy their meal on the grounds. 

Families hoping for some outdoor adventure can choose from nearby Spencer Park's many recreational opportunities including a playground, soccer fields, sand courts for volleyball, biking trails, Nordic ski trails, and disc golf. Complimentary poop bags are available throughout the property. Owners are asked to pick up and properly dispose of all canine waste materials promptly.
