Located rather close to Las Vegas, you will find the ever-so-beautiful Storrie Lake State Park. This state park is located in New Mexico and fosters opportunity for fun, adventure, and historic relaxation. This park ranges up to 6,607 feet in elevation and it is open throughout the entire year from early in the morning until sunset. 

People who come to Storrie Lake State Park claim that it is well-maintained and promotes fun for everyone who visits. When you come to this state park, you will find many different amenities for enjoyment. The lake offers activities such as boating, swimming, fishing, windsurfing, and you can even hike and bird watch. 

Cross-country skiing is also available for those that are interested in wintertime activities. Dogs are allowed at this park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash while they are here. Humans and their dogs must follow the rules and regulations that are implemented by the state park area. 

Dogs must first be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the Storrie Lake State Park, and young pooches under four months old and female pups in heat must stay back at home. Dogs must be well-mannered before they come to this park as Storrie Lake State Park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans will be held responsible for their pup's behavior. 

Humans need to bring dog bags and water for their time here, and humans also need to clean up and keep an eye on their dog during their time here at this park. If you're interested in camping at the Storrie Lake State Park, you must reserve your spot.
