Summer Lake Dog Park
Summer Lake Dog Park is one of three dedicated dog facilities in Tignard, Oregon. Situated on 2/3's of an acre of property, Summer Lake Dog Park is home to a fully fenced play space where dogs can run, frolic, and play, all without the need for a leash. Though many dog parks do also allocate a fenced section for use by small, senior, or shy dogs, Summer Lake Dog Park currently does not have one.
However, all dogs, regardless of size, age, or breed, are welcome to enjoy proper socialization and off-leash activity in the single enclosure. With the utmost of safety precautions in mind, owners are asked to maintain easy access to a leash at all times. Summer Lake Dog Park proudly offers access to their grounds at no cost. The park itself houses many different amenities to enhance each visitor's experience at Summer Lake Dog Park.
Visitors to this beautiful dog playground remark on the stunning landscaped property which lends a charming air to the grounds. To ensure all owners stay informed of park events, there is an information kiosk located at the entrance to the enclosure. Also housed here is a donation box. Since the park operates solely on monetary gifts from the public, all monies are gratefully received and put towards park improvements and maintenance.
The official rules for Summer Lake Dog Park are posted next to the information kiosk. Water is provided on the grounds to allow Fido and his friends to quench their thirst after a vigorous run or game of chase. Shelter is also readily available to protect owners and their dogs from inclement weather. Bathrooms are not housed on the property.
Poop bags are not provided; however, the onus is placed on each owner to clean up after their pets. Summer Lake Dog Park places few expectations upon visitors to this public dog playground. To protect against the spread of disease, all dogs must be current on vaccinations. It is also recommended that dogs have an up to date city dog license. Ready to explore a new Tignard park?
