Tempe Sports Complex Dog Park is located near Warner Road and Hardey Drive and is the largest park for canines and often considered the best dog park in the area. The sports complex is quite vast and easily over 100+ yards long. With plenty of benches for seating and trees for shade, you will find it a lovely place to be even during hot afternoons.
There is a covered area with four picnic tables where people can get together, have some chat and also bring a few snacks with to pass around and share. It may get a little dusty during the summer months, but for the most part, it is a pleasant place to be.
Unlike other dog parks, there is no space dedicated for small pups so if you have one; you need to watch out for your smaller furbabies. If you have a tiny puppy that doesn’t want to mingle with canines of other sizes, then this might not be the place for you.
The Tempe Sports Complex Dog Park provides plenty of poop bags and garbage cans around the park, so you do not have to worry about the disposal of dog waste. The good news is, the majority of pet parents who come to the park are responsible people who do their part in keeping the place clean.
There is plenty of room for canines to roam. The grass is in perfect shape in June, and there are gravel areas which break up the open space and give dogs something else to explore. The park is open until night time, and it has good lighting, so your dog can enjoy playing even when it’s dark.
The park also has a water source for playful canines too to ensure they are well-hydrated when having fun. There are bathroom facilities in the sports complex, which is within a couple of hundred feet from the bark park. So, take a trip to the Tempe Sports Complex Dog Park to enjoy a fun-filled day for both of you.
