Three Creeks Dog Park is located at Sycamore Fields south of Watkins. The park is about five acres of land that is designated for dogs to run off-leash. This pristine dog park is fenced-in for safety and has two areas available for both small and large dog breeds.Â
There is a water pump on the property that provides water access to fill the community dog bowl or individual bowls. The water is available during the warmer seasons, but it’s turned off during winter. Remember to bring along water for your dog when visiting during the colder months.Â
You and your furbaby can have a great time at the Three Creeks Dog Park. There’s walking paths and lots of room to play a great game of fetch. Pet parents are welcome to bring along a ball or toys for their dogs. Dogs that don’t like to share with others might become aggressive.Â
If your dog behaves aggressively, remove the toys and if the behavior continues, leash your dog and remove them from the park until another day. The Three Creeks Dog Park is open space, so there is not a whole lot of shade, but you can bring an umbrella to guard yourself, and your dog, against the sun.Â
Also, you need to clean up after your dog to help maintain a safe and healthy environment for everyone. Dogs that visit this designated area need to have their vaccinations up-to-date and a license tag attached to their collar. This is a mandatory park rule that helps prevent illness spreading among the dogs. Sick or injured dogs need to remain at home until they fully recover.Â
Overall, Three Creeks Dog Park is a beautiful dog park that is great to visit daily. Your dog will get plenty of exercise and enjoy playing with others. It’s also an excellent place to socialize your dog, meet other pet parents and set up doggie play dates in the future.Â
