Tom Harvey Memorial Dog Park

This massive nine-acre park in Ohio is owned privately and has excellent pasture grass for pooches to roll and play on, as well as ponds for pooches to wade and swim in, benches for pet parents to sit on and relax while supervising their furbabies, and woods for a pleasant hike. 

The nine acres are divided between the grass area and the shaded woods. There is fresh drinking water all year long for both pet parents and their pooches, so there is no hassle of having to bring water. However, there is no separate area for large and small dogs so owners must be very vigilant to avoid accidents and injuries. 

There is plenty to explore in the park and Spike will ever run out of places to explore and things to discover. It is an excellent idea to wear old shoes or boots if it has just rained because it can get a bit soggy and in some areas, very muddy. A little mud and dirt on your dog are worth it if you see the look on their faces while they enjoy themselves. 

There is a swing in the woods which pet parents can sit on without any worries while their furbabies explore the wholly fenced area. This fantastic dog park tucked away in the country is quiet and clean and worth the long drive, if you don’t live nearby. Responsible people always clean up after their well-behaved pooches. 

You can take children with you to the park, and they will undoubtedly enjoy sitting by the pond and observing the animals while your dogs have the time of their lives playing, exercising and meeting new four-legged friends. Any donation to the local Humane Society and the donation box on the gate is very much appreciated.
