Trailside Dog Park

Trailside Dog Park is located in the community park of the same name in Park City, Utah. This family-friendly park is comprised of 63 acres in totality with 17 of them having been developed for recreational use. This designated dog facility houses two fully fenced areas, which function as independent dog parks with one for use by small, senior, and shy dogs and the other reserved for larger dogs to enjoy. 

Off-leash play is welcomed and encouraged in both dog runs. To ensure the safety of all pets in the play areas, it is mandatory for all owners to carefully supervise their dogs at play. It is also required for dogs to remain on a lead when entering and exiting the enclosures and in all other public areas. Trailside Dog Park, a public facility, is pleased to permit access to their grounds to all people and their pooches free of charge. 

Visitors to this doggy play haven praise its rustic "feel" which lends itself well to the demeanor of a homestead. The dog runs are lined with both dirt and grass to provide excellent traction as well as to be easy on canine joints. The play areas offer no on-site amenities other than poop bags. Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. 

For any other items Fido might need during his fun time at the park, it is recommended that owners bring them from home. These would include bottled water and a dog dish. Benches are scattered throughout both runs and in areas with plentiful shade to allow owners a quiet place to rest and observe their dogs having fun. Bathrooms are available on the grounds for public use. 

Trailside Park is a community recreational center, and it boasts of many great attractions for families to enjoy. Among the outdoor activities are the following: basketball, tennis, and pickleball courts; a skateboard park, a bike park, multi-purpose athletic fields, playgrounds, pavilions, a meeting room available for rental, several off-leash areas, and a disc golf course. 

Additionally, there is an off-leash trail consisting of a full mile. Dogs visiting Trailside Dog Park must be current on all vaccinations.
