Dogs need to be licensed, vaccinated, and tagged before they can enter Tygart Lake State Park, and female pups in heat and young pooches under four months old need to stay back at home. Humans need to clean up after their pooches and watch over their dog during their time here, and dogs must be well-mannered before they come to this park as Tygart Lake State Park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior.
