Wesminster Farm Dog Park

This massive 40-acre area, especially for canines, is located in Darien, Wisconsin. The park opened its gates to the public in 2009 and had since been making lives better for a lot of our four-legged friends. It is one of the prettiest dog parks in the area. 

The park has a natural border on the west with Turtle Creek and fencing around the rest, so at Wesminster Farm Dog Park, you need not worry about your dog slipping past and running away, but pet parents have to be vigilant in ensuring that their pooches do not end up drowning. 

Groomed trails wind around the acreage, and there is plenty of seating along the way so if you are a pet parents who have gotten a little exhausted from all the playing, you can relax for a bit before you continue with your daily dose of fun with your best friend. 

There is a clear pond which is perfect for dogs to swim, and wade in, whether alone or in the company of other canines. The lake can get overgrown with algae sometimes, so make sure it is clean before you let Spike in. There are walking fields where you can take Spike for a walk with you, as well. 

Those who wish to contribute to the park’s upkeep can drop any amount in the secure drop box that's been installed at the Wesminster Farm Dog Park. Membership is a requirement to use the park, and it costs $200 annually. The park is managed by Wes Hopkins and is considered by locals as one of the best dog parks in their area. 

There are no restrooms though, so people who plan to visit the park are advised to use the toilet before leaving home. Dog scooper bags are also not available so bring some so that you can clean up after your pets. Nobody wants to go to a park which has a lot of dog waste.
