Relax and embrace the beauty of the great outdoors at Willow Creek Dog Pond Off-Leash Area located in the Willow Creek Park. Willow Creek Park features over 17 acres of sports fields, exercise courses, and children's playgrounds, as well as wooded space and trails. Keep your dog on-leash at all times except in the doggie-designated area.
The Willow Creek Dog Pond Off-Leash Area features 2.4 acres of space that includes a pond for your four-legged friend to jump into and splash around. There is a floating dock for him to jump off, or they can put a paw in the pond to test the waters if they are unsure of the water. If swimming is not for your dog, he can roam and run on the green grassy area.
Not only is there 24,000 square feet of running space at the Willow Creek Dog Pond Off-Leash Area, but there is also a short trail available for you and your dog to explore. If your pup is into agility exercises, he can run through tunnels or jump over obstacles, too. If you get tired by simply watching your dog run around so much, you can sit on one of the benches provided.
There are covered shelters, too, to keep you out of the elements on rainy or bright and sunny days at the Willow Creek Dog Pond Off-Leash Area. Either way, on a clear day, you will have a view of the mountains and can enjoy the scenery as your pup runs free. As you watch your dog, make sure you pick up after him using a poop bag brought from home.
Be sure to bring your own water, too. Always make sure your dog is up-to-date on his vaccinations and is not aggressive. Your pup should be able to respond to your call and play well with others. Please note, that in the summer the Willow Creek Dog Pond Off-Leash Area is a dog park, but in the winter it becomes an ice-skating rink, and there are different pond rules.
