The Wilsonville Dog Park is a public dog park located at the Memorial Park in Wilsonville, Oregon. The off-leash dog park can be found east of the sports field, opposite of the community gardens. The one and a half acre dog park is securely fenced and consists of an open, grassy space that is perfect for games of fetch and chase. It also has some ungroomed areas for dogs to sniff around and explore in which is great for less active or senior dogs. However, make sure to bring a towel either way on rainier days as playtime can get very muddy in this park.
This dog park is packed with beautiful, lush greenery and surrounded by meadows just outside the fence, making it a relaxing and serene environment to spend a day in. There are two separate double-gated dog runs, one for small dogs and the other for the larger dog breeds. Both are equipped with water fountains, benches, and a decent amount of shaded areas and canopy shelters for owners and pooches to enjoy on both sunny and rainy days.
In addition to all of the above, there are trails that run around the dog enclosures so feel free to take your canine buddy there for additional exercise if the off-leash fun doesn't tire him out enough. There is also a 33-space parking lot nearby and public restrooms in the park, as well as a portable bathroom right by the dog park.
There is also a fire hydrant, waste bag dispensers and trash cans inside the dog park. Please make sure to clean up after your four-legged companion if you visit this spacious, green park to help keep it well-maintained. Since the park is quite popular within the dog community in the area it can get crowded on the weekends so keep that in mind when you pick a day to visit.
