Description
Fido itching to get out for a hike? If so, bring him to Browns Creek Greenway. It's a terrierific spot for a day of hiking fun! This Davidson County hiking trail sits in a residential area of Nashville. The 0.65 mile paved trail rests on property that was once occupied by homes that were destroyed during the Nashville flood of 2010.

Situated within the Battlement neighborhood, Browns Creek Greenway is a loop trail with some mature trees and lots of sunshine to enjoy. You and your pooch are bound to have a ball exploring the paved trail at this pawsome spot. Doggoes are warmly welcomed at Browns Creek Greenway but please be certain to keep your pooch leashed.

The Browns Creek Greenway sits at the eastern end of Battlefield Avenue. The trail is quite easy to find, located just outside the mouth of the parking lot. The trail winds through some grassy areas with pawsitively beautiful landscaping, stone walls,  and some tree cover. Approximately halfway through, you will encounter a bridge. Pass underneath it and continue along through a more densely wooded area. The trail is quite picturesque, so you just might want to tote along your camera to snap some pawrifically amazing shots!

You will need to bring along some drinking water and cleanup bags. Though it is not known if any benches are provided for taking in a little R&R, Browns Creek Greenway is still a pawsome spot for a picnic. Pack yourself a little lunch to share with your fave pooch. Don't forget to include a blanket to spread out on the grass.

There are plans for future biking trails to connect Browns Creek Greenway to two neighboring parks: Sevier Park and Gale Lake Park. The current trail is pawrfect for both biking and hiking.

For a woofderful day exploring a new hiking trail, plan a visit to Browns Creek Greenway. You and your pooch will have a doggone amazing time!
