Made up of forest roads and trails cut through the forest, you will not be disappointed with the scenery at any time of the year!Â
Your hike will take you and Fido along flat land in forested areas, as well as rolling hills. The trails then meander through open meadows which are covered in wildflowers and green grass in the springtime. What dog doesn’t love to roll in the newly-sprouted spring grass! Your trip will not be complete until you cross the bridges along the way, making for picture-perfect selfies with your pawtastic pup!Â
Restrooms and drinking fountains can be found at the resort and near the main entrance to the trails. If you are hiking in the summer, make sure to pack some insect repellant for you both. Are you heading out in winter? Then cold-weather gear it is! Boots and a coat for Fido are recommended! Although leashes are not required, it is advised to keep your fur-ever friend restrained in winter when snowmobilers might be present for everyone’s safety.
