Corriganville Park

There’s a perfect outing for you and your pup in Simi Valley, California!  Pack up your pup and head to the Corriganville Park located here and hop on their hiking trails! What a great day this will be.

This puptastic park offers 5 different trails, depending on your mood and pup’s skill level. Pick up the main trailhead at the entrance to the park. Here you will find a large bulletin board with trail maps and other pertinent features pointed out. This first trail you will hike is called the Interpretive Trail and will lead you to all the others. 

The Interpretive Trail offers a 1.1-mile long hike, perfect to warm up the toes and paws! This easy hike will give you a nice introduction to the park. There are informational signs pointing out the geology and plant life along its entire length as it meanders along a stream. Learn as you hike!

Just off the entrance and the Interpretive Trail is the 1.2-mile Loop Trail offering a moderate-rated trek through the sandstone rock features of the park. As you walk, you will see the Wildlife Corridor Trail which a 0.5-mile steep hike to other areas of the park and other trails. Although short in length, please offer enough rest stops for Fido here. The Stagecoach and Hummingbird Connector Trails are the other two options to explore with your fur-ever friend by your side. With similar features, but varied lengths, you will have many memorable times with any trail you pick!

All trails have natural footpaths which will give you plenty of varied terrain, scenic rock outcroppings and a peek at the local wildlife. Restrooms and water fountains are located at the main parking area.
