This breezy loop trail outside of Albion, California offers magnificent ocean and cliff views; after all, it is located on the "Shoreline Highway." While pawpular among those who know it, the Navarro Point Trail offers a relatively-light foot traffic path and is open for exploring all-year long. Parking is available just off the highway, and is clearly visible and marked.
Above anything else, the Navarro Point Trail attracts visitors in search of colorful wildflowers and sweeping ocean views high up on the Northern cliffs just beyond the wide mouth of the Navarro River. Sounds appealing, right? But hikers beware - this hike does have steep cliffs, so do not let your pup off the leash for any reason. Safety first! Watch your step and all will go smoothly. You'll be able to enjoy a plethora of blooming wildflowers in every color of the rainbow during springtime.
