Park No. 500 Walking Path

The walking path in Park No. 500 is a short and easy dog furiendly path of about a quarter of a mile, so its pawfect for those small puppers who only need a short walk . Park No. 500 is in the middle of the community of West Garfield on South Springfield in Chicago, Illinois. The mature oaks and pines will help keep you and your canine companion protected from the sun throughout most of your walk. 

The park is housed right in the middle of a residential zone, and can be found between houses. This furrific city play space boasts a playground, basketball court, benches, and several trash cans where you can dispose your clean-up bags. Right through the center of the park is the paved pathway that runs from W Polk Street to W Lexington Street. Your dog must be on a leash to accompany you throughout this city green space, and be picked up after. 

There are no water fountains, so it is best if you bring along some extra H20 for you and your canine kid, so you don’t get dehydrated on your walk. There are also no restrooms at Park No. 500, so plan accordingly. You can have a seat on one of the benches where you can let Fido sniff around while you take a break and have a snack.
