This pawrific trail is found inside the Cotton Tail Park, where it follows around the park and is surrounded by park features, open space, and trees. Parking is available along the road on the north and south side of the park. Walking along the sidewalk, you'll find the entrance to the trail which loops around the center of the park. Starting at the southern end, you'll see typical park features like two playgrounds, rubber terrain, a gazebo, swingsets, and picnic tables.Â
The trail is made from concrete, and is bordered by dense trees that provide shade and privacy from the nearby neighborhoods. Along the trail, there are spots with benches, nighttime lights, and scenic water fountains. Also on the trail are drinking water fountains with different sizes for dogs, children, and adults. About halfway, the trail connects to a larger sitting area with trimmed bushes and metal benches. The inner part of the trail is a large open grassy area that is open to for leashed dogs to play in, offering plenty of space to play fetch or run around. There are two other paths that fork off from the mail trail that lead to the northern parking sections, but the main trail eventually loops back to the southern starting point where you can get back to your car.
This scenic and quiet trail also offers more space to run around and play, making this a great place to view wildflowers, walking, playing and just enjoying some outdoor time with your pooch.
