Ragle Ranch Regional Park Trails

Ragle Ranch Regional Park is a beautiful forest park filled with pawesome trails to hike with your pup. This park has about 3.56 miles of trails to explore, and dogs are welcome to join you on the trails on-leash.

Ragle Ranch Regional Park has four fun trails to trek on. Many of these trails are short, but they connect with other trails, forming pawesome loops. If you’d like to go on a long hike with your pup, try the 1.9-mile Blackberry Trail and Towhee Trail loop. Begin your hike on the Blackberry Trail, which starts next to Ragle Ranch’s main parking lot. The first part of the trail takes you through a meadow filled with native grass. After that, you’ll walk through a shady forest. Then, you’ll pass a marsh that’s filled with wading birds.

About a mile into the Blackberry Trail, you’ll reach another woodland area, and then, you’ll pass by Atascadero Creek. You’ll cross a bridge over the creek, and after that, you’ll walk past another beautiful marsh. The Blackberry Trail ends at Veteran’s Memorial Grove, a picturesque tree-filled area. The Towhee Trail begins in this furrific grove. Follow the Towhee Trail for the remaining 0.2 miles of your hike. Then, you’ll end up back where you began at Ragle Ranch’s parking lot.

If you’d like to let your dog play off-leash for a bit, there’s a dog park right next to the parking lot. This dog park is fully fenced, and it features one big field for dogs to run and play in. If all this walking and playing makes you and your dog hungry, there’s a picnic area just a short walk from the dog park.
