Description

Has your doggo been lying around the house all day? Then it’s time for them to get their legs moving! Grab the leash and make your way over to Rock Creek Regional Trail. This lovely path is a furrific place for some doggy cardio!

The trail's western access point is at the Rock Creek Powerlines Soccer Fields. Restrooms and drinking fountains are available here, so be sure to fill up your water bottles before leaving. Follow the paved pathway east through open meadows. You’ll pass Rock Creek Country Club, so watch for flying golf balls! It’s not long before the trail comes to Bethany Lake Park. If you have some extra time, this lovely park is worth checking out. Besides the lake, this park has picnic tables and its own network of trails.

When your pup is ready to move on, continue your journey east. The next section of the trail travels through wetlands, open meadows, and forest while running alongside Springville Creek. A variety of birds and critters call this place home, so keep your eyes peeled for wildlife. Your pooch will love all the new sights, smells and sounds in the area.
Bethany Meadows Park is the next park you come to. Also known as Pirate Park, it has a pawsome playground for two legged children. If your pupster needs a break, this is the pawfect place to paws for a rest. After a brief pit stop, keep walking east until you reach Kaiser Woods Natural Area, where the trail ends.

Rock Creek Regional Trail is a pupular path, so you’ll see plenty of joggers, cyclists, and other dog walkers. Do your part to keep the trail clear of doggy debris. Bring a clean up bag and always pick up after your furry friend. Above all else, have a woofderful time strolling along this puptacular trail with your four legged sidekick!
